If you want to simulate a more or less correct tyre pressure you'd need to have a way more complicated tyre model which takes a lot more physical properties into account:
- tyre flexing/stiffness which acts on many variables (e.g. generates heat to mention one)
- ambient temperature of air and ground surface (in sunshine those could be quite different, dependent on how surface interacts with sunshine)
- change of tyre contact patch surface by various variables
- heat flow (air & aerodynamics, ground surface, tyre rim, heat contribution from brakes which depends on aerodynamics and more, ...)
- change of tyre properties by temperature
- ... (I surely forgot or don't see some to mention more)

The tyre model can get arbitrarily complicated. In my opinion simulating proper tyre pressure makes only sense if your tyre model takes care of tyre flex/stiffness and temperature dependence of various tyre properties. Getting reliable data for such things is almost impossible and for rallying you'd need to take care of tarmac, gravel and snow/ice which multiplies the difficulty to obtain the data even more.


Sure, would be nice to have, but very difficult to implement properly.

With today's computing power of gaming computers and graphic cards you could simulate way more complicated things easier than in the times when RBR was created. Did the current top circuit track racing games find the "holy grail" of tarmac tyre simulation? OK, I know, forgive me to go a bit to the extreme edge with "holy grail". I guess no, more kind of "good enough" to sell. They may be better in their tarmac niche than NGP-RBR (I claim that without experience of circuit track racing sims as those are not my playground, but I follow slightly what's going on with other racing sims) but again rally sims have more surfaces to cover properly.

we are in luck, workbee has added the Ford Fiesta Rally4 to RBRCiT !!!

I have a question, my apologies if I'm wrong .... M-Sport declared 200hp in the 2019 Fiesta R2T and 210hp in the Fiesta Rally4.

In RBRCiT the two cars are listed with 200hp, I don't know if it's a text error or if the error is mine.

Here is a text that can be read on the M-Sport website:
"The award-winning 999cc turbocharged Ford EcoBoost engine has been optimized with increases in power and torque delivering 210 bhp and 315 Nm respectively. The 2020 Ford Fiesta Rally4 sees improved gear ratios and stronger driveshafts to better handle the delivery of the increased power and torque."

This fiesta rally2 model has the driver built in the model, helmet and everything, which conflicts in VR because it can block the view. Quite unusual, as I think no other model has this. Any solution?

There is no indication of that according to the changelog as far as I've read it. Do you sense some particular changes (regarding general drive model or for some specific car physics?) or why do you ask?
The changelog is usually very brief but if important drive model tweaks are made, I would expect those to be announced in some way or another.

German translation / Deutsche Übersetzung:
Laut Changelog gibt es keinen Hinweis darauf, soweit ich es gelesen habe. Spürst du bestimmte Änderungen (bzgl. generellem Antriebsmodell oder für irgendwelche bestimmten Autophysiken) der warum fragst du?
Das Changelog ist in der Regel recht kurz gehalten, aber wenn wichtige Änderungen am Antriebsmodell vorgenommen wurden, würde ich erwarten, daß diese auf die eine oder andere Weise angekündigt werden.

Funktioniert der i20 WRC 2020 und der Fiesta Rally 2 bei Euch im Online Plugin? Ich kann mit diesen beiden Autos noch an keinem Tournament teilnehmen. Kann mir jemand sagen, warum dem so ist? Ich habe von diesen Auos die aktuellsten Modelle installiert.

Das CZ Plugin hat die Modelle vom Hyundai und dem Fiesta noch nicht geupdatet. Das Plugin erwartet derzeit noch die veralteteten Modelle, deswegen werden die Autos da nicht gefunden, wenn man diese schon via RBRCIT aktualisiert hat. Sobald diese auch im CZ Plugin geupdatet werden sind, kann man die Autos da auch wieder fahren.

Danke für Eure Antworten. Zumindest den i20 WRC 2020 haben sie als aktualisierten Download verfügbar. Ich dachte auch irgendwie, dass bei Aktualisierung vom Modell, ohne dass sich die Physics ändern, es dem Plugin egal ist.

Wie auch immer, wenn das dort noch nicht aktuell ist, dann erklärt das natürlich den Grund.
